From AMHS to Elite 2 Commando – A Journey of Discipline and Dedication By Hammad Hussain
My name is Hammad Hussain, and I am honored to serve in the Elite 2 Commando – Jarrar Battalion. But before donning this uniform, I was a proud student of Amna High School (AMHS) — a place that did not just educate me, but moulded my character, discipline, and ambition.
My journey started within the classrooms of AMHS, where values like respect, patriotism, and resilience were deeply instilled in us — not just through words, but through the living example of our beloved founder, Brigadier (R) Siraj Ahmed (Late).
He was more than a founder — he was a role model. His vision, leadership, and military background laid the foundation of a school environment that inspired me and many others to serve our country with pride and honour. I owe much of my strength and motivation to the disciplined culture he created at AMHS.
The Jarrar Battalion represents courage, sacrifice, and commitment — values I first learned under the roof of AMHS. The spirit of service, sense of purpose, and fearless mindset that helped me reach where I am today were planted and nurtured in those early school years.
To the students of AMHS: cherish the environment you are in. It is not just a school — it is a training ground for future leaders, soldiers, doctors, and professionals.
Thank you, AMHS, and salute to Brig (R) Siraj Ahmed (Late), whose vision continues to live in each one of us.
